Beaches on the Hook Peninsula

Wexford enjoys a 260 km coastline with over 70 beaches on offer and on the Hook Peninsula alone there are 8 outstanding beaches for you to enjoy. For a fun day at the seaside on the Hook peninsula, families will enjoy the beaches of Grange, Baginbun, Sandeel or Ducannon Beach right on our doorstep. Each of these beaches has a lifeguard on duty during the summer season (lifeguard flags are displayed when on duty). A beach wheelchair is also available on the beach and can be booked through the Wexford County Council website.

For a quieter day at the beach, you can enjoy the beaches of Dollar Bay, Booley or Boyces Bay, each of these beautiful secluded beaches is a delight. For some fun waves and some sea sports Carnivan Beach is one of Wexford's best surfing beaches.
